Your customers are asking AI.Make sure it answers with you.
When someone asks ChatGPT, Google or Perplexity who to call, the assistant reads a few pages and names two or three businesses. flo-aeo makes sure one of them is you, whether they call, book, order or walk in.
We ask an AI assistant the ten questions your customers ask right before they choose someone, and show you who it sends them to and why. No sign-up to see the result.
The answer names three businesses. Then the customer stops reading.
There is no page two. An assistant does not show ten links, it writes a paragraph and names who it trusts. If your site is not one of the pages it read, you are not in that paragraph, no matter how good your reviews are.
- Search anything on GoogleThe AI answer now sits above the links. Most people read it and stop.
- Ask ChatGPT who to callIt searches the web, writes a paragraph, and names two or three businesses with sources.
- Ask Perplexity the sameEvery sentence carries a numbered source. If your page is not one of them, you are not in the answer.
Try all three yourself tonight, with your own trade and your own street. That is the whole argument.
For a furnace that stopped overnight in East York, three companies come up consistently for same-day service and good reviews:
- 1Eastside Comfort Heating[1]
- 2Danforth HVAC[2]
- 3Metro Furnace Pros[3]
All three list 24-hour emergency lines. Call the first two before nine and you will likely get someone today.
Answer engine optimisation, in one paragraph.
AEO is how often, how accurately and how favourably AI assistants describe and recommend your business when someone asks a question in your category. It is the search ranking for a world where the answer arrives as a paragraph instead of a list of links.
flo-aeo measures it, fixes the reasons you are missing, and measures it again every month. The first site we did this for had more useful content than the retailers being quoted instead of it. It was quoted three times in thirty-eight questions, for four fixable reasons.
- Businesses whose competitors get named in AI answers and they do not
- Sites with genuinely useful pages that never get quoted
- Owners who noticed Google traffic slipping since AI answers appeared
- Anyone who wants this measured, not guessed at
- ChatGPTsearch on
- Google AI Overviewsabove the links
- Perplexitycites everything
- Clauderuns the free check
- Geminiin the audit
The free check runs one engine. The audit runs all of them.
Measured, fixed, measured again.
We do not guess, and we do not ask you to take our word for it. Same questions, before and after, every month.
- 01
Read your site
Every page crawled. What you sell, where you work, what you claim, all written down as the ground truth the answers get graded against.
- 02
Write the questions
Thirty-odd questions your customers actually ask: the problem ones, the shopping-around ones, the ones that name you. In your words, not ours.
- 03
Ask the engines
Each question runs through the assistants, answers captured verbatim: who was named, who was quoted, what was said about you.
- 04
Score every page
Each page graded for how quotable it is: does it answer at the top, do its facts agree with the rest of the site, does it say who you are.
- 05
Fix, then measure again
The plumbing first, then the pages, a person approving each one. The same questions run again monthly, so you see the movement instead of taking our word.
- Crawl every page154 pages · 140k words
- Score each pagehow quotable, 0 to 100
- Ask the engines38 real customer questions
- Fix, page by pagea person approves each one
- Re-check monthlycited 3 → 19 of 38
- “why is my hot tub water cloudy”you
- “best hot tub chemicals near me”you
- “what is the white slime in my spa”you
- “how often to change hot tub water”you
AEO is the front door. This is the rest of the house.
Being named in the answer is worth nothing if the call goes to voicemail and the form goes to a spreadsheet. The same line runs everything from the answer to the invoice, on systems you own.
A site you own
Fast, yours, on a server you control. Rebuilt or repaired, never rented. Built to be quoted, not just visited.
Enquiries that go somewhere
Every form, call and message lands on one board, gets a reply in a minute, and is followed up without anyone remembering to.
Tracking that tells the truth
Server-side measurement, so you see which ad, page or answer produced the job, not just the click.
Reviews and reputation
The request goes out when the job closes. Happy customers are sent to Google. The unhappy one reaches you first.
Content from your field notes
A voice note from the truck becomes a page that answers a real question. The kind of page assistants quote.
Somebody running it
Hosting, backups, patches, the monthly re-check and a short report. One provider, one monthly, and you keep the keys.
Most of these are on the home page as a day in the business. See them running →
With your developer, or with us running it.
Both start with the same check and the same written audit. The audit is credited against whichever you choose.

We quote the audit and the fix in writing after the check, per site. Nothing on this page has a price because nothing is priced before we have seen the site.
Asked on most first calls.
Is this just SEO with a new name?+
No. Search ranking is about being one of ten links. This is about being one of the two or three pages an assistant actually reads and quotes when it writes an answer. Much of the good SEO work still helps, and some of it, like keyword-stuffed pages, actively hurts.
Do I need a new website?+
Usually not. Most of the work is fixing what engines see and rewriting pages so they answer clearly. If the site is too slow or too broken to fix, we say so in the audit, and rebuilding it becomes an option, not a requirement.
What do you actually change on my site?+
Technical signals first: the robots file, the structured data that says who you are, links and sitemaps that point the right way. Then the pages themselves: a direct answer at the top, facts that agree with each other, claims an assistant will repeat rather than hedge. Every change is listed and approved before it goes live.
How long until it shows up in answers?+
Technical fixes are read within days. Rewritten pages take a few weeks to be re-read and trusted. We re-run the same questions monthly so you see the movement rather than take our word for it.
What does it cost?+
The check is free. The audit is a fixed price, quoted in writing before we start, and it is credited against the fix if you go ahead. The fix is scoped per site, because a twelve-page site and a two-hundred-page site are different jobs.
Can I keep my developer and my hosting?+
Yes. We can hand your developer a precise list and check the result, or do the work ourselves. If you would rather have one provider for the site, the hosting and the monthly, that is also on offer.
Run the check, then talk to us.
Twenty minutes, your result on the screen, and a straight answer about whether the audit is worth doing for your site.
